Best Practices in Interpreting Developmental Toxicity Data for Classification and Labeling

Budapest, Hungary
9/4/2017

This workshop is addressed to participants working in industries or regulatory bodies who are involved in testing and assessment of the potential developmental toxicity of chemicals. A large number of chemicals are going through the CLP process and many are being classified as CMRs. The workshop will discuss best practices to achieve a consistent and accurate classification in regard to developmental toxicity, in particular within the REACH, biocides or pesticide regulations. Topics will include the interpretation of developmental toxicity studies, particularly developmental effects in the presence of maternal toxicity and considering the entire weight of evidence in determining a classification. The workshop will provide views from both regulatory and industry scientists.
