This year our Annual Symposium will take place all day on 27 March 2018.
The General Assembly will take place the day before 26 March 2018.

Within the frame of the programme, optional breakfast meetings will be organised on 27 March 2018, from 07:30 to 08:30, to present the work programme of a selection of ILSI Europe's Task Forces to new potential members.

Background & Purpose
Targeted to a multidisciplinary network of experts in food, nutrition and health, the 2018 Annual Symposium will feature presentations by leading experts on three major themes: Food of the Future, Proteins of the Future, Consumer Behaviour and Nutritional Intake.

The aim is to gain insight in the addressed topics, better understand the issues at stake and identify existing and future challenges that ILSI Europe could proactively tackle by fostering public-private collaboration.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Attendance to the workshop is upon invitation but a limited number of seats are available for interested experts subject to payment of a registration fee €200.00

Registration covers:
• Admission to the symposium
• Symposium booklet
• Welcome dinner on 26 March 2018
• Buffet lunch/refreshments served during the conference on 27 March 2018

Registrations and hotel reservations should be made prior to 5 March 2018. An invoice will be sent to paying registrants after payment of registration fee by credit card when registering on-line. Requests of registrations and hotel reservations received after 5 March 2018 are subject to availability.

Registration Cancellation Policy
All cancellations of registrations and hotel reservations should be made in writing to Ms Ruth Marquet at rmarquet@ilsieurope.be. Cancellation of registrations received after 5 March 2018 will not be refunded.

Located close to Place Rogier and next to the Botanical Garden, in the centre of Brussels, the hotel is within walking distance to the railway station Bruxelles-Nord with departures to and from Brussels Airport, and in direct connection to Bruxelles-Midi with the International lines Eurostar and Thalys by underground.

A number of standard guest rooms have been pre-booked at special rates in the HotelBloom where the symposium will take place.
• Rate Single Room: €143.24/night
• Rate Double Room: €163.24/night
Rates include buffet breakfast, free access to WiFi, €4.24 city tax and 6% VAT.

Hotel reservations and online registrations should be made together and preferably by 5 February 2018. After this date, registrations and reservations are subject to availability.

For cancellations of hotel reservations received after 12th March 2018, the HotelBloom will charge the full stay. Substitutions of hotel reservations are possible and should be made in writing rmarquet@ilsieurope.be.

How to Reach the Venue
• From Brussels Airport:
From the airport railway station, direct trains leave every 10 to 15 minutes and take you in less than 15 minutes to Bruxelles Nord railway station located at a 15-minute walk from the hotel (one way fare: €8.50). At the station, take exit Rogier/Centre and walk straight ahead, from the Rue du Progrès to the Av. du Boulevard that you have to walk up to the Rue Royale. The hotel is on your left side.
