Dr. Hannia Leon, Executive Director, ILSI Mesoamerica, Costa Rica
Dr. Hannia Leon is a dietitian and nutritionist from the University of Costa Rica where she was a Professor in the Nutrition School from 1996 to 2001. She also worked as a Professor in the Human Movement School. Dr. Leon has earned her MSc in Maternal and Child Nutrition, MSc in Sports Nutrition, as well as a Master of Project Management (MPM) degree from the University for International Cooperation in Costa Rica. From 2009 through 2013, Dr. Leon served as the President of the National College of Professionals in Nutrition. In both 2002 and 2006, Dr. Leon was the nutritionist for the National Football Team for the World Cup. Since 2014, Dr. Leon has served as the Executive Director of ILSI Mesoamerica.
