The objective of the Pharmaceutical Affairs and Medical Instruments Committee is to train representatives of the pharmacovigilance departments of the Ministries of Health, representatives of health care organizations and collaborators of the companies dedicated to operations related to pharmacovigilance and medical devices. the Central American and Caribbean Region, on good operating practices and the necessary resources for their implementation.

On June 18, the first committee session will be held within the framework of the Nanotechnology Conference and the challenge in the Pharmaceutical Industry, where the main objective will be to draw up the lines of work of the committee for the following months.

Doctorate in Nanotechnology from the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Alicante, Spain. Specialty in Biodegradable Polymers awarded by the National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research - NIMC, Tsukuba, Japan. Director of the National Nanotechnology Laboratory - LANOTEC of the National High Technology Center - CENAT, Costa Rica.
