I Symposium on the use of natural resources: "Fight against cancer"

This initiative was born due to the great amount of research that is done in the subject of bioprospecting in different groups of several universities and the potential results that have been obtained.
For the above with the event is intended:
- Create a dynamic and informative space during which the topic of the use of Costa Rican natural products in applications against cancer is discussed, either from a preventive point of view or as a potential treatment
- Encourage the formation of interdisciplinary research networks with the aim of generating innovative products or services that are available to society in the medium or long term.
ILSI Mesoamerica is pleased to participate through the presentations of Dr. Anupam Bishayee, from Larkin 
University Miami, FL, United States. Dr. has been interested in the last two decades in the investigation of biology, therapeutics and cancer prevention.
His laboratory is involved in the examination of the chemopreventive and therapeutic effects of various medicinal plants, natural products, dietary and synthetic agents using various preclinical models of cancer, including breast and liver cancer, and the associated mechanisms of action, especially the anti-inflammatory and cellular signal.
For this activity there will be international and national exhibitors.
