REDCIMOVI is a project that integrates applied research efforts between Central American Universities in childhood, human movement, and quality of life, through interdisciplinary groups of researchers in each member university of the network, in order to provide tools or inputs to government entities in charge of decision-making, to ensure the physical and mental health of children in the area.

Due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, the educational centers of the Central American region have had to suspend their face-to-face lessons, however, this was not an obstacle for the people committed to this project, but the beginning of a new initiative. Through the social network Facebook, a health and well-being page was created, the purpose of which is to promote active lifestyles in the different environments in which Central American girls and boys interact.

REDCIMOVI researchers invite you to the International Symposium on Research on Childhood and Human Movement in Times of Pandemic, where the data obtained from the different projects in times of Pandemic will be analyzed.

The Symposium will be held on October 20, 21, and 22, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm Costa Rica time.
