La diversidad dietética, un componente importante de la calidad de la dieta, se asocia con una mayor probabilidad de ingesta adecuada de micronutrientes. Las mujeres en edad fértil son particularmente vulnerables a la insuficiencia de micronutrientes. La diversidad dietética mínima para las mujeres se ha utilizado ampliamente como una medida aproximada de la adecuación de micronutrientes.
Este estudio tuvo como propósito examinar el efecto de la intervención de escuelas activas móviles sobre la autoeficacia hacia la actividad física, el disfrute por la actividad y la percepción del nivel de actividad física, en la niñez costarricense y panameña en tiempos de pandemia por COVID-19.
