Dr. Nora Khaldi, Nuritas Founder and CEO, Ireland
Dr. Nora Khaldi is a pure mathematician, scientist and entrepreneur. Nora holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Evolution, comparative genomics and Bioinformatics from Trinity College Ireland. She has been inducted into the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders in 2019. Nora is a highly published author and has developed many open source-software programs used by institutions globally such as the one she developed at the Craig Venter Institute of genomics. In her early career she was one of the very first scientists to show horizontal gene transfer between multi-cellular species. She is a multi-TEDx speaker, has been named ‘Woman of the Decade in Business and Leadership’ at the Women Economic Forum, and holds more than 30 patents. Nora also sits on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Governing Board. This multi-billion Euro fund and agency aims to increase and foster European innovations and their global impact. Most recently, she has joined the list of renowned CEOs, including Warren Buffet and Elon Musk, who have had their business strategies, leadership and decision-making highlighted in a case study by the Harvard Business School.
