However, in Costa Rica, there is no information available regarding the consumption of nutritional supplements nationwide. This research aimed to analyze the use and sociodemographic, anthropometric and intake characteristics of consumers of nutritional supplements in the Costa Rican urban population aged 15 to 65 years.
