The symposium featured experts from China, Japan, New Zealand, the European Union, the United States, and locally, who were speaking on updates in standard development, implementation, and enforcement, as well as other best practices related to processing aid substances.

Human microbiome and its impact on health have been an active area of intense research in the last decades. ILSI Taiwan held its 2018 Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium on: “Human Health Partners: Microbiome and Health” on April 27.

The symposium features international and local experts with the objective to share their knowledge and experience with local stakeholders. This will be beneficial in future strategic development in managing food contact materials to strengthen consumer confidence in food safety.
